Now meet the men behind the medals 

Now I'll admit that I'm not a professional historian or expert on researching medals.  But that's why this site is here.  It's for people like me who are interested in British military history and are looking for a simple guide to help them learn more. 

It's also about inspiration.  Often, the detailed strategy and politics of war isn't the most interesting aspect of military history.  It's the people and their individual stories of courage and perseverance.
